At the beginning of September, I was lucky enough to be part of a fab DIY colourful Mexican themed wedding at the wonderful Tynemouth Watch House.
Mark & Hannah came to me only around a month before their big day in a total panic about who was going to take care of everything on the day. They had already done amazing to do everything themselves with the help of friends and family and been super creative with their styling choices but they needed that extra piece of mind that everything was going to run smoothly on the day.
The Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade Watch House was their chosen reception venue, what a great choice it was! It’s such a quirky building steeped in history given that it is primarily used as a museum, not to mention the amazing views!
Given that It is primarily run as a museum there are no staff on site so there was no wedding co-ordinator on hand for them to oversee everything. who was going to inform their serving staff of what to do, suppliers where to put things, chase suppliers if they didn’t turn up, direct guests when they arrive, ensure everything was just exactly how they wanted it and plan ahead for any problems which may arise? That’s when they called me for help to be their on the day co-ordinator.
Venues with similar set ups are becoming increasingly popular but couples can be faced with the same stress of who will deal with everything on the day.
As a couple you want to enjoy your day to the fullest and not have to be thinking about what if the cake doesn’t show up, what if the speeches run over and food is due to be served, the list goes on.
Our on the day co-ordination services can take away this stress and ensure you can enjoy every moment of your day the way you should.
